The HCP team stem from a variety of backgrounds and trades including engineering, plumbing, building surveying, electrical contracting, project management, book keeping and IT. They have practical skills teamed with professional property management training and will communicate with you, as the client, in terms you can understand.

Nick Carter FRICS FAPI
Managing Director

A former British Army Officer, Nick Carter founded HCP in 1995. He has held senior positions in large commercial real estate and development companies, both in Australia and overseas, since 1982 and has extensive experience in the residential, industrial, retail, leisure and commercial property sectors.

Nick is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, a licensed Real Estate Agent and a Member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland. Currently he is a Director of Vision Australia, a national charity which services blind and vision-impaired people.

Adrian Fischer
General Manager

Adrian Fischer has a military and trade background spanning over 30 years. He brings the attention to detail and effciency required of military service to the day-to-day operations of HCP, combined with a common-sense approach learned from his earlier experience as a plumbing contractor. Adrian coordinates the inspection and reporting routines of all HCP Property Managers in addition to managing a portfolio of commercial and industrial buildings.

Gary Webb C.S.M.A
Manager Retail Management

With over 20 years experience in the Shopping Centre management, Gary Webb has been responsible for many assets throughout Queensland and has held senior management positions in Australia and Asia. Gary has established the retail management processes and standards within HCP and is responsible for the conduct of all retail management appointments.

Carroll Doyle
Senior Property Manager

With over twenty years hands-on property management experience in a major national development company, Carroll Doyle has a sound working knowledge of the Body Corporate and Community Titles Act and specialises in lease negotiations. Her detailed practical skills are utilised by a number of clients to conduct Due Diligence Investigations when purchasing properties. Carroll holds a Principal's Real Estate Licence and is a Member of the Real Estate Institute of Queensland.

Debbie Hyde
Property Manager

Debbie Hyde joined Hillier Carter Properties in 2004 after completing a degree in Journalism at Griffith University. Using her attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills, Debbie works closely with the HCP management team to assist in coordinating tenant and lease issues.

John Proctor BSc DipSurv MRICS
Property Manager

In addition to being a qualifed licenced building surveyor, John Proctor has had extensive commercial and industrial building experience with large companies in the UK. He joined HCP in January 2005 and has brought his comprehensive condition and dilapidation report skills to the beneft of our clients. John is a passionate advocate for the universal introduction of 'Schedules of Make-Good' into all commercial lease documents in Australia.

Christopher Hands BSc MRICS
Property Manager

A recent addition to the HCP team, Chris has an extensive background in property and construction gained from 15 years practical experience as a Chartered Building Surveyor. He has senior level experience and has provided a full range of Surveying, Architectural and Project Management services to a broad range of Private, Public and Commercial Clients. He has a keen eye for detail and as a previous owner and operator of his own businesses Chris has a practical “Hands-on” approach to management and problem solving.

John Sampson
Operations Manager

A recent addition to the HCP team, John Sampson has a background in the construction and services industry. Over the last 15 years he has been involved with the operational management of large commercial and retail centres. John has a good rapport with clients and contractors and his vast experience with plant and machinery is utilized to ensure that clients' equipment is maintained and serviced to the highest standards.

Wendy Smith
Accounts Manager

Wendy Smith, who has been with the Company since its inception, originally worked for a number of years for a respected firm of Chartered Accountants and has extensive book keeping experience. Wendy has a thorough knowledge of the financial situation of all properties under management and a meticulous determination for attention to detail. Wendy is able to provide timely financial reports and current cash-flow projections, at any time, without notice.

Peta Eddy
Accounts Department

With over 20 years experience across various fields including banking, allied health and manufacturing, Peta Eddy’s customer service and administration skills arms her with a common sense approach to problem solving and a keen eye for detail and numbers.

Donna Radtke
Accounts Department

A long-standing and hardworking member of HCP’s administration and accounting team, Donna Radtke assists in all accounting matters and bookkeeping.
